Managing users in Guardey: access & performance
Maintaining a clear overview of active users on the Guardey platform is essential for effective user management. This allows you to monitor current access levels and identify users who may no longer require platform access.
View and manage users in the admin area
Step 1: Log in to the Guardey portal and navigate to the admin section
Step 2: Click users to display a comprehensive list of all users in your organization
Step 3: Review user status
- Active – User has platform access and can participate in challenges
- Inactive – User access has been revoked and is excluded from license usage
Analyze user activity with filters and exports
For deeper insights into user activity, apply filters or download the user table as a PDF or CSV file.
Available filtering options:
- Status – Filter by active or inactive users (active users have platform access and can participate in challenges)
- App installation – Shows whether users have installed the Guardey application
- Date created – This is the date the user was invited or added manually to the Guardey portal
- Last activity – Displays the most recent user interaction with Guardey
The exported table contains identical information and provides an at-a-glance overview of your entire user base, enabling quick status assessment and targeted action.
Manage user access
When you identify inactive users who no longer require platform access, you can choose to deactivate or delete them.
What's the difference between deactivating and deleting a user?
- Deactivating a user preserves their historical data while removing platform access
- Deleting a user permanently removes both access and all historical data
