Sometimes you may need to deactivate a user, for example because a colleague is leaving the company. Check out this article if you want to permanently delete a user.
Deactivate user - Per user
Step 1: Start by logging in to your admin portal.
Step 2: Go to users. Click this to get an overview of all users within your organisation.
Step 3: Find the user you want to delete in the user list. Click view user behind the email address of the user in question.
Step 4: In the user's management mode, find the settings option. Click this to access the various actions.
Step 5: In the settings menu, find the option deactivate user. Click this to deactivate the user.
Deactivate user - Multiple users
When you want to delete multiple users at once, the bulk action option is very handy. It allows you to select multiple users at once and perform the same action.
Step 1: Start by logging in to your admin portal.
Step 2: In the admin dashboard, you will find a section called users. Tick the checkbox next to the users you want to delete. Once you tick the first checkbox, the possible bulk actions will appear.
Step 3: Once you have selected the desired users, choose the deactivate users option. This removes all selected users at once.
