Guardey allows you to customize how frequently users receive new challenge notification emails. By default, these emails are sent weekly when a new challenge becomes available.
If you prefer, you can switch the cadence to every two weeks or every three weeks. This change only affects the notification emails, challenges will continue to unlock weekly, as usual.
How to update the email frequency
Step 1: Open the admin portal
Step 2: Navigate to settings
Step 3: Under organization settings, select details
Step 4: Locate the new challenge emails option
Step 5: Choose your preferred email frequency
Step 6: Save your changes
Why use a different email frequency??
Switching to a bi-weekly cadence can help reduce the number of emails users receive, which is especially beneficial for organizations with busy or seasonal workloads. By lowering the frequency of reminders, you may also see improved engagement as users experience less email overload. Even with fewer reminder emails, users can still access and complete their weekly challenges in Guardey whenever it suits them.
Things to keep in mind
Challenges will continue to unlock every week, so changing the email schedule does not affect availability. When users receive a bi-weekly reminder, they may see two unlocked challenges waiting for them. It can be helpful to communicate this schedule change in advance so expectations are clear. All reporting and analytics will continue to accurately track challenge progress, regardless of how often reminder emails are sent.
