Managing plans is an essential aspect of organizational management on Guardey. In this article, we'll guide you through effectively managing plans for organizations, including setting up trials, extending plans, and canceling plans.
Creating an Organization and Choosing a Plan: When creating an organization as a reseller, you already choose a specific plan for that organization. You can indicate whether you want to start a 14-day trial or activate a plan immediately. You can choose between monthly or annual billing.
Managing a Trial Plan: During a trial, the organization has access to all features within the chosen trial plan. It's possible to extend the trial up to three times with an additional 14 days. When a trial expires, the organization's plan is automatically deactivated.
Communication about Trial Expiry: Resellers receive an email notification 4 days before a trial expires. Admin users of an organization also receive a notification about the impending end of the trial and when it expires.
Plan Management: After creating an organization, you can manage the plan via the organization's settings. This can be done by going to "Settings" and navigating to "Plan" on the left side of the menu.
Starting a New Plan: You can start a new plan that begins after the trial expires. This can be done by selecting the "Manage" option on the plan page and then choosing "Start new plan."
Canceling the Current Plan: If desired, the current plan can be canceled via the management option. This will result in the plan being stopped at the next renewal. The expiration date of the plan can be found on the plan page.
Immediate Plan Cancellation: If you want to stop the plan immediately, you can select the management option again and then choose "Cancel now." The plan status will immediately change to "canceled."
Resuming the Plan: After cancellation, it's always possible to start a new plan or start a new trial for 14 days.
Organization Inactivity with Canceled or Expired Plan: If an organization is inactive due to a canceled or expired plan, all users within the organization will also be inactive and will not have access to the Guardey application and/or portal.
