If you’re managing organizations, the Guardey admin portal makes it easy to add, organize, and manage them centrally. Below you’ll find step-by-step instructions, plus tips to ensure important settings (such as language) are set correctly when you create a new organization.
Steps to add a new organization
Step 1: Go to the admin portal and select organizations from the menu.
Step 2: Click the three dots at the top right of the organizations screen.
Step 3: Choose create organization from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Fill in the organization/company name. Click create organization to complete.
Important: Set the correct default language for your organization immediately (e.g. Dutch or English). This will determine the language users see by default.
(Optional) You may also be able to add extra info, such as sector, address, or main contact, if relevant to your setup.
Why it is important to fill in core details now
Language: Setting the correct default language ensures all invitations, onboarding steps, and challenges are immediately understandable to your users. This saves time and prevents questions or confusion later. Read more about adjusting language settings here.
Organization name: Choose a clear and recognizable company/organization name. This will be visible to all users and in your dashboards.
(Optional) Main contact info: Keeping an up-to-date main contact ensures you receive important notifications.
