Sometimes it may be necessary to temporarily pause Guardey's challenges, such as during the holidays or when your organization is collectively free. Once you are ready to resume, you can easily reactivate the challenges. In this tutorial, we explain how to (un)pause challenges at both organizational level and for individual users. You can schedule a break in advance and also indicate an end date for the pause.
ℹ️ Unfortunately, you cannot pause the organization and then unpause selective users. You can pause users at the user level, but not exclude them.
(Un)pause challenges at the organizational level
Log in to the Guardey admin portal
Start by logging into your Guardey account. Then go to the admin portal.
Navigate to the organization Settings.
Step 1: Click on the organization option in the menu.
Step 2: In the organization settings, find the game section.
Step 3: Here you will see an option titled pause game. Turn this option off or on to make the challenges active or inactive again.
(Un)pause challenges for individual users
Would you like to pause or reactivate challenges for specific employees only, for example after a vacation period? Then follow these steps:
Log in to the Guardey admin portal
Start by logging into your Guardey account. Then go to the admin portal.
Manage an individual user
Step 1: Click on users in the menu to see a list of all employees.
Step 2: Click on the user whose challenges you want to (un)pause.
Step 3: In the user profile you will find the settings option.
Step 4: You will see an option titled pause game. Turn this option off or on to make the challenges active or inactive again.
Step 5: To schedule a pause for this user, click on the plan pause option. You can set a specific date range when the user will not receive challenges, for example during their vacation.
