Sometimes it may be necessary to temporarily pause Guardey's challenges, such as during the holidays or when your organization is collectively free. Once you are ready to resume, you can easily reactivate the challenges. In this tutorial, we explain how to (un)pause challenges at both organizational level and for individual users. You can schedule a break in advance and also indicate an end date for the pause.
ℹ️ Unfortunately, you cannot pause the organization and then unpause selective users. You can pause users at the user level, but not exclude them.
(Un)pause challenges at the organizational level
Step 1: Log in to the Guardey Admin Portal
- Log into the Guardey Portal: Start by logging into your Guardey account. Then go to the admin section
Step 2: Navigate to the Organization Settings.
- Select “Organization”: Click on the “Organization” option in the menu.
- Go to Settings: In the organization settings, find the “Game” section.
- Disable or enable pausing: Here you will see an option titled “Pause Game.” Turn this option off or on to make the challenges active or inactive again.
(Un)pause challenges for individual users
Would you like to pause or reactivate challenges for specific employees only, for example after a vacation period? Then follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to the Guardey Admin Portal
- Log into the Guardey Portal: Start by logging into your Guardey account. Then go to the admin section
Step 2: Manage an Individual User
- Select “Users.” Click on “Users” in the menu to see a list of all employees.
- Select a User: Click on the user whose challenges you want to (un)pause.
- Go to Settings: In the user profile you will find the “Settings” option.
- Disable or enable pausing: Here you will see an option titled “Pause Game”. Turn this option off or on to make the challenges active or inactive again.
