Combining groups on the Leaderboard

It is possible to display multiple teams or groups as one combined group on the leaderboard. Combining multiple teams or groups on the leaderboard serves several practical purposes:

• This approach enables more effective competition between larger organizational units rather than small teams, which can boost motivation and engagement.
• It allows you to create broader departmental views while maintaining separate groups for management, targeting, and reporting purposes.
• Organizations can keep granular team divisions for daily management (such as Finance - Accounting, Finance - Accounts Receivable, etc.) while showing a unified departmental presence on competitive leaderboards.
• The combined view highlights competition and motivation instead of detailed analytics.

To implement this, you simply need to give multiple groups the same leaderboard name in their settings, and the platform will automatically display them as one combined entity on the leaderboard.

For example, if you have multiple finance groups:

• Finance - Accounting
• Finance - Accounts Receivable
• Finance - Payments

You can display all of these as one combined group on the leaderboard.

Step 1: Go to search group

Step 2: Select manage group

Step 3: Navigate to settings

Step 4: Click on game

Step 5: Enter the same leaderboard name for all groups you want to combine in the leaderboard name field

Step 6: When multiple groups have the same leaderboard name, the platform will display them as one combined group on the leaderboard

This enables effective competition between larger organizational units, allowing different teams (like various financial departments) to compete as one unified group against other departments, enhancing motivation and engagement across the organization.
