We perform the triage for alerts so we can give the notification the right priority. This is done completely automatically. So you have a clear overview of what is important and what is not.
We have the following priorities:
Priority 1 (Urgent)
In Cyber Alerts with priority 1, a very urgent threat has been identified. Contact your IT partner immediately and cease activities on your computer as much as possible. If possible, turn off your Internet connection to prevent further spread.
Priority 2 (High)
Cyber Alerts with priority 2 have a high threat level. Here it is also important to contact your IT partner immediately and, if possible, suspend activities on your computer.
Priority 3 (Moderate)
By Cyber Alerts with priority 3 we mean alerts with a moderate threat. Something is going on so we recommend investigating this alert. Investigate what caused this alert and take mitigating steps if possible.
Priority 4 (Low)
Cyber Alerts with priority 4 are generally not an immediate threat. It is good to take this notification for notice and act on it if necessary. If it concerns a trusted application or website you can also whitelist these alerts via the whitelist option in the app. You will then no longer receive these alerts.
Priority 5 (Info)
Cyber Alerts with priority 5 have the lowest priority. The threat is very low, so action is not always required. Unless you see something suspicious here of course! If not, you can also whitelist these alerts via the whitelist option in the app. You will then no longer receive these alerts.
Note! If you have a priority 1 (urgent) or priority 2 (high) alert, you must have these alerts investigated by your IT partner.
